Climbing trees is woven deeply into our genes and is one of the most natural things to do for humans; it has the power to awaken some kind of archaic arborphilia with a strong spiritual overtone, even in ‘modern’ humans. It is a great workout with a playful character, it rewards you instantly (especially valid for fruit trees), and you are in direct skin-to-skin contact with the most incredible beings on this planet.
Even though we learned walking on two legs, we never really stopped clambering about in the canopy.

I wish one day someone looks at me and says “Yeah, looks like he spent significant time in trees”
